Women’s day
International women’s day is celebrated every year on the 8th of march. It is the day which is celebrated around the world with lots of love and happiness.
It focuses on the movements for celebrating the role of women as daughter, sister, mother, and homemaker. It is a day to celebrate acts of courage and determination by ordinary women who have an extraordinary role in the history of their country and community. It is an occasion where we show the woman in our life how much their existence means to us. The program celebration aims to highlight women rights and gender balance around the globe. It is also celebrated to mark the exceptional achievements of women in various fields like science, education ,technology and health.
It is celebrated to honor women’s Achievements, increase awareness of women’s equality, advocate for gender parity as soon as possible, and raise funds for female-focused charities.International Women’s Day was first observed by Austria, Denmark, Germany, and Switzerland in 1911 on March 19th .But the first National Woman’s Day, was celebrated in 28 February 1909. When a woman by the name of Clara Zetkin suggested there be a special day of recognition at the International Conference of Working Women in Denmark.
